WITH REACTIVE SILICA FOR HIGH PERFORMANCE CONCRETE
Pozzocrete 60 is an ultrafine processed fly ash enriched with reactive silica, designed for producing high-performance concrete with improved strength, durability, and reduced permeability. It enhances particle packing and workability retention and is manufactured through advanced mechanical air-classification of coal-fired thermal power station ash.
Salient Features of Pozzocrete® 60
Maximum 8% retained on 45 microns.
Specific surface area minimum 400 m²/kg.
Water reduction of 6–8% compared with OPC mix in standard mortar and 8–12% in concrete.
RCPT (Coulomb) values significantly lower than conventional fly ash concrete, indicating reduced permeability and enhanced durability.
Produces a highly workable mix at low water–cement ratios (down to 0.28) with relatively lower admixture dosage.
Improved early and 28-day strength compared to normal fly ash mixes.
Contributes to cost-effective high-performance concrete, offering performance benefits at substantially lower cost compared to microsilica-based mixes.
Pozzocrete 60 is an ultrafine processed fly ash with a light grey appearance and a smooth, fine texture to the touch. After extensive laboratory evaluation and multiple trial mixes, the product is being successfully used in performance and high-performance concrete applications. The fine fly ash particles, combined with their predominantly spherical shape and reactive silica content, result in reduced water demand, improved workability, and enhanced concrete performance, thereby achieving the following:
